The 2025 ADAC MX Masters finale took place in the southern German town of Holzgerlingen, near Stuttgart. The Schützenbühlring is considered one of the most beautiful tracks in the ADAC MX Masters series. The track combines natural uphill and downhill sections with modern artificial jumps and track elements. This allows riders to master everything, from deep corner lean angles to spectacular whips and scrubs over the 15 jumps.
Unfortunately, we had to do without our two Master riders, Julian Duvier (broken finger in a race in Bitch, France) and Samuel Flink (pneumonia), in Holzgerlingen.
Therefore, RGS Racing was represented by Junior Bal and Linus Persson in the Youngster class, Vince van Hoof in the Junior 125 Cup, and Matto Vertongen in the Junior 85 Cup.
Weather: Cloudy - mixed with rain
Track conditions: Hardpack
Track length: 1800m
Youngster Cup:
#17 Junior Bal / Belgium
Practice Group B: P6
Qualifying Group A: 8
Race 1: P14
Race 2: P14
Race 3: P21
Overall: P16
Unfortunately, Junior finished in 21st place in Race 3 after a crash, just outside the points. This prevented a better overall result – ending in 16th place.
Due to an injury shortly before the start of the season, Junior couldn’t participate in the first championship races. Thanks to strong performances in the final third of the season, he finished 22nd in the championship standings with 58 points.
Junior will remain with the team in 2026 and compete again in the MX2 class.
#Linus Persson – Sweden
Practice Group A: P10
Qualifying Group B: P10
Race 1: P11
Race 2: P DNF
Race 3: P13
Overall: P14
Holzgerlingen is not one of Linus' favorite tracks. Nevertheless, he showed a good performance in the races. Unfortunately, he had to retire from Race 2 after the Roll Off on his goggles broke.
Overall, Linus had a strong season. He finished all the races in the points and ended the championship in a solid 11th place with 160 points.
Linus has extended his contract with RGS Racing and will compete in the MX2 / Youngster Cup class for us again in the 2026 season.
Junior 125 Cup:
#490 Vince van Hoof / Belgium
Practice: P33
Qualifying: P39
Race 1: Canceled due to difficult track conditions!
Race 2: P28
Overall: P28
Vince faced some issues with the challenging track conditions this weekend. Unfortunately, he didn’t score any points by the end of the day.
Vince was a guest rider in our team this season, competing in only a few races.
In 2026, Vince will compete for RGS Racing in the full ADAC MX Masters Junior 125 Cup season. He is a talented rider, and we are excited to offer him this opportunity.
Junior 85 Cup:
#432 Matto Vertongen / Belgium
Practice: P24
Qualifying: P30
Race 1: P29
Race 2: Canceled due to difficult track conditions!
Overall: P29
Matto had some difficulties with the deep, heavy soil in Holzgerlingen.
Similar to the Junior 125 class, there was only one scoring race for the 85cc class. Matto finished 29th in that race.
Young Talents Team Championship 2025:
At the end of the season, RGS Racing finished in 11th place out of a total of 25 teams.
Without Junior Bal's injury, a much better result would have been possible this season.
The goal for 2026: Top 8!
The ADAC MX Masters 2025 season is now behind us. It was a long and exhausting season, with highs and lows.
Planning for the upcoming year is already underway. We want to make improvements in areas like our paddock appearance, organization, and presentation of our sponsors, as well as striving to become even more professional.
We have many ideas and are trying to implement as much as possible.
Of course, we will keep you updated on news, winter training, testing, and more in the coming months.
A big thank you to our sponsors for their support and trust in RGS Racing!
Without you, none of this would have been possible – you’re amazing!
We are very excited to have you as part of RGS Racing again next year, and we look forward to continuing this journey together.
Thank you once again!
I wish you a great time and see you soon.
