Season Finale at the Eighth and Final Round of the ADAC MX Masters 2024 in Holzgerlingen

The RGS Racing Team experienced an exciting and eventful finale of the 2024 ADAC MX Masters Series at the renowned Schützenbühlring track in Holzgerlingen, organized by KFV Kalteneck e.V. With sunny weather and pleasant temperatures around 20 degrees, 14,500 enthusiastic fans lined the track, creating a fantastic atmosphere. The well-organized paddock area provided ample space, offering optimal working conditions for the teams.

MX Masters, Samuel Flink: Unfortunately, Samuel had to sit out the final race of the season due to an injury sustained during training the week before. Unable to compete in Holzgerlingen, the entire team wishes him a speedy recovery and hopes to see him back on track soon.

MX Youngster Cup, Junior Bal: Junior once again showed that he could hold his own in the highly competitive Youngster Cup, which featured strong World and European Championship riders. In qualifying, he put in a solid lap and secured 17th place, matching his race number. In the first race on Saturday, he made a solid start in the mid-pack and steadily gained positions, finishing in an impressive 12th place. Sunday, however, proved more challenging: a technical issue in race two forced him to retire, and in race three, riding his spare bike, he lost his clutch after two laps. Despite the difficulty of riding without a functioning clutch, Junior battled on but could not advance due to the mechanical issues.

MX Youngster Cup, Linus Persson: Linus entered the weekend not fully fit and struggled to find his flow on the new-to-him track. Qualifying in 26th place was below his usual performance level. In the first race on Saturday, he managed to earn a point with a 20th place finish. On Sunday, Linus suffered from breathing issues, which forced him to cut his second and third races short. The cause of the issue is currently being investigated.

ADAC Junior Cup 125, Seth Priem: Seth Priem from Belgium, competing in the ADAC Junior Cup 125 for the RGS Racing Team, delivered a solid performance. In qualifying, he secured 24th place, and in both races, he managed to score valuable championship points. With an 18th place finish in the first race and a 16th place in the second, Seth could be very pleased with his performance, showing he can hold his own in this highly competitive class. We look forward to seeing his continued development in future races.

MX Junior Cup 85, Samuel Moser: The youngest member of the team, Samuel Moser, achieved a significant milestone by qualifying for the ADAC MX Masters races for the first time. He finished 36th and 33rd in the races – solid results to build upon for next season.

Season Statement Linus Persson: “My first year in the ADAC MX Masters has been good, although there have been lots of ups and downs. Unfortunately, I struggled to piece everything together, which prevented me from achieving the results I wanted this year. I’m really happy to have met all the great people on the team and I’m looking forward to continuing next year and improving from this season.”

Season Statement Junior Bal: “2024 was a fun year for me. It wasn’t always easy, but I had some decent results. As always, the atmosphere within the team was great, and I’m looking forward to completing my final season in the Youngster Cup for RGS Racing Team in 2025.”

The RGS Racing Team extends heartfelt thanks to all fans, sponsors, and organizers for their support throughout the 2024 season. The challenges and experiences of this year have brought the team closer together and laid a strong foundation for the year ahead. We look forward to coming back stronger in 2025 and showcasing our progress on and off the track.
